Nick was in Cosmo or Glamour, I forget which, 2 or 3 times last month. For his birthday (under horoscopes) and in a little section about celebrities who petition the Senate.

i loved that bliss interview, the “pointer finger” and nick’s phrase about trust was very deep, and when joe said taylor was lovely lol

I agree Jersey, but that isn’t the way it goes around here. The fans always have to make it some stupid juvenile competition where there is none. Joe has gone whole interviews without saying a word, but do us Joe girls say he is being ignored? Of course not. We know he either talks a lot, or not at all. So why isn’t it OK if Kevin does that?
On another note, like we were talking earlier elsewhere, the kids will take this interview to say that Joe wasn’t buying a house for himself because he said here….months ago…that they were happy at home. Well before they say that, remember that when he said “we’re happy at home” he meant Kevin too, and his situation certainly changed. Joe can change his mind, too.

Kelly, you seem to be the one who likes Kevin the least. I don’t like tearing apart fans, but constantly complaining about what Kevin does, or rather doesn’t is just bringing him down.

Kelly, it’s “Kevin girls” like you that make Kevin seem inadequate by always pointing out what you perceive as inequalities. If they don’t compete with each other, why do you make it a competition? And what does what Jersey says in a Kevin post have to do with this interview? You’re grasping at anything because you aren’t making sense. Kevin is comfortable and secure in his place in the band. Kelly, no I’m not kidding. I’ve been busy lately, so no I didn’t see the conversation. I believe everyone who runs this site are huge fans of Kevin as well as Joe and Nick. I’m the same way, the only difference is, is that I don’t bring him down by CONSTANTLY pointing out what he DIDN’T say or do. Has Kevin been done wrong by the occasional reporter and “fan”? Sure.

No Kelly…Kevin does not feel unloved. YOU feel Kevin is unloved. Has it EVER occurred to you that Kevin is just NOT a “center-of-attention” kind of person? He has said that he wants to produce, or direct…those are very important, but behind-the-scenes things. He’s a very gifted businessman, like his father. And that is a job that is absolutely necessary and vital to their career. Just because he isn’t doing what you want him to do doesn’t mean he feels slighted. I think you’re projecting your own insecurities on Kevin. He knows who he is and what he wants. Do you?

Sam, nobody talks about Kevin unless its about Danielle or his brothers. Everyone always talks about Joe the person and Nick the person, but Kevin has to have a connection to at least one other person(be it Danielle, his brothers, his whole family etc). He doesn’t get an identity of his own. You cant even know the feeling I had yesterday of being able to give him an idenity with Bella. She made me feel like I belonged, the first time since Liz left. I was on Cloud 9. No one at my high school liked Kevin at all. They all loved Nick and Joe, but called Kevin names a lot. I am so glad I am in college now and dont have to put up with others making me feel like an idiot for loving Kevin.

Who makes you feel like that here, though? Don’t take the negative experiences you had at school and put them on people here. We aren’t like that. We all love all three boys. But you never answered my question. What is Kevin is happy doing what he’s doing? He’s an amazing guy, talented, funny, friendly, and very eloquent. But what if he likes being behind the scenes? Why should his fans make him feel bad about that? Because that’s what you’re doing. If you’re always questioning why he isn’t talked about more or written about more, then you’re doing exactly what you don’t want people to do. Negating his place in the band. Not everyone is a frontman. Not everyone wants to be. If people say nasty things about Kevin, that’s their problem. I see plenty of nasty things said about Joe, and a lot of them are much worse that “he’s ugly”. They attack his character and his state of mind. I wish all they said about Joe is “he’s ugly”. It’s better than “he’s depressed, suicidal, anorexic, a whore, stupid…” and it goes on. This isn’t a contest. We are all fans. All three brothers have their unique gifts that they bring to the band. They know this. The fans should too, and they need to ignore the haters.

Are we having a little bit of a fight here? Can we all agree that we may have different opinions, but ultimately, we love ALL of them? I get that we have favorites, most of us do, and we tend to talk about them, but in the end, it’s 3 boys from New Jersey who stole our hearts. I wouldn’t want it any other way :)

I’m not reading all these comments, so maybe someone already said this, but I think Joe, if was sincere, is showing how mature he is. “Yeah, this girl made a hobby of trashing me last year, but I can still compliment her.” If he’s joking, that’s him showing that he’s not letting himself hold grudges, which is also very mature.
