you need to shut this site down. it’s miserable that the boys had to release a statement on their myspace to combat STUPID rumors that you chose to post on a fansite that you claim is reliable. honesty doesn’t mean spreading lies about the boys. how dare you call yourself a true fan, or even a human being with class or respect? leave the fans to run the fansites, not power hungry brats.
Leigh – Hey, don’t bash Liz, or JHQ. Liz is right a great majority of the time. If you don’t like the site, just leave. And who’s to say it started here? Apparently DK also had posted info. There’s no point in posting disrespectful comments.
Leigh, leave LIZ alone. she said it was just a rumor. she never said it was OFFICIAL, she was just telling us what she heard.
Leigh, nobody said the rumor started here. She said they were just rumors. Everybody knew they were rumors unless the boys themselves spoke the truth. I’ve seen all of that on DK and a few other sites as well. So don’t tell Liz she NEEDS to shut this site down. This is a very resourceful site and if you don’t approve of the way Liz is running it, you don’t have to visit it.
dk is liz’s site, too. that’s okay, guys. keep coming to this unreliable site that the boys’ management had shut down for the night. that should tell you all you need to know. supporting liz’s actions makes you all bad fans, too.

That’s horribly rude, Leigh. A fansite is meant to keep fans informed about what has been happening in the world of a celebrity. This includes rumors. And… excuse us, Liz is a power hungry brat? In the six months I’ve been visiting this site, Liz has never struck me as less than awesome. She makes sure we know- this is what each brother is doing, here are some new interviews and articles, by the way there’s this rumor which I don’t personally believe.

I have to agree with one thing … And don’t hate me for saying this guys, but I kind of wished that she didn’t address it, unless it was completely confirmed because it just caused this giant uproar among most of the Jonas fans and it was pretty crazy … It might’ve even changed people’s minds permanently. All I’m saying is, I just wish it was confirmed and not a rumor before she posted it. Most people misread, jumped to conclusions, and it spreaded like wildfire.

dang. easy leigh. the bottom line is, liz NEVER said it was true. i think, what we have learned is that jhq.org is apparently a resourceful site for A LOT of fans. i rememeber at one point, barely anyone came here, so even if those rumors did get posted no one would have paid attention. there are MANY fansites that post rumors they hear and never get flack because, i guess, people don’t visit them. so don’t act like liz made this horrible mistake and ruined the boys. if anything its a kudos to her that this site has apparently become such popular place for a lot of people.
i love this site. i love the work liz puts into the site and i will continue to come to the site. i have no reason to hate or call her any of those choice words. liz is very upfront with it us. this WILL blow over like anything else. we come to support the boys.. let’s all get back to doing just that.

They wouldn’t of had to release any kind of statement if Liz would of just kept her mouth shut about her ~sources telling her this and that. This rumor didn’t just pop up out of nowhere. It’s here because of her and her Twitter post and you all took that and ran and told all of your friends. It caused hysteria in the Jonas fandom. So, yes. It is her fault.

And the whole thing about reaching the management. It was like after five minutes she posted the rumors and then posted up what Papa J said. I don’t think in under five minutes that the whole thing could have reached the management.
Dean-Kelly posted it first and had 20 what some commments before JHQ even had one about the rumors.
Anon- they’ve addressed similar rumors several times. I can think of one time when they blogged about not breaking up, and another time when they blogged about one of them not leaving the band. This is nothing new.

Anon- You do realize that anything that has to do with the Jonas Brothers causes mass hysteria and craze from Jonas fans. It’s the way it has always been. This case was no different. Liz posting it wasn’t the reason for the mass hysteria. Jonas fans do that anyway, all on their own. It’s a fact.
