NOW WE KNOW HOW THE EPISODES ARE GOING DOWN…

Starting NEXT weekend, June 7 there will be JONAS episodes. Next week starts the Summer of Stars – JONAS will be on Sundays. The first episode is ‘Band’s Best Friend’. Way to go Disney, finally getting this on a schedule.

I’m just waiting for JONAS to air in Mexico… I don’t like watching them in spanish but I’ll get to see them bigger in the tv that in my computer :D

Ok now to complicate the whole what day is Jonas on, according to the Disney Channel site, both the Jonas page and the main site, the episode titled “That Ding You Do” will air on Saturday June 13 at 8:30 ET.

I saw this interview on tv with Disneys head honcho and basically it was talking about how after june 7, ALL jonas episodes are gonna be on SUNDAYS rather than saturdays! the ‘summer of stars’ thing is just an excuse to make the move
sadly ‘jonas’ wasnt the big ratings pull that disney was hoping for to compete with the competition, Nickelodeon’s “iCarly”..so it got bumped to sundays instead

Ashley, I’d be interested in watching that interview because the about 10 interviews that I have read have had Disney execs who were totally supportive of JONAS and wouldn’t say a bad word about it. I have also read the stories about both Nick and Disney debuting their summer lineups. And yes it helps Jonas but these stories started before the third Jonas episode. Yes Jonas lost to the icarly special on week two but it hasn’t been head to head with it for each episode.

Actually that latest post shows that they won the 6-11 time slot for May and are doing fine. If you understand ratings numbers they are coming in with the same numbers as other comparable shows. The only disappointment they could have in my opinion is if they were hoping just by using the name Jonas millions would come flocking without Disney doing any marketing. Their boss has not negatively commented publicly or even in an earnings release confrence call with analysts . In fact ssome anaylsts commented they were surprised at how positive they were toward Jonas after reading some of the trash out there.
