  1. this right here is why I love these boys. it’s nice to see them opening up about their faith and speaking so candidly about their relationship with Christ. they are so amazing.

  2. Kendall I couldn’t have said it better myself
    so proud of them

  3. Ok weird!!
    I haven’t seen a religious interview like this before……… :S

Eh… and the interviewer knows absolutely nothing about them! I mean “Are you three brothers?!”
Oh wait… no it gets better, he must have googled them! :P

Aw Kevin is very chatty! :)

Wow Nick, very insightful with girls and fighting!Haha!

    This interview is so recent!!

He loves them, and respects them? Does he know them? :P

I’d almost forgot how religious they were!
Aw they’re so adorable and respectful! :) x

  4. See This Is why I love these boys! They really do truly love the Lord!

  5. I love love love that they did this interview. Even if I wasn’t religious, I’d still be very happy about it. Their faith is obviously such a huge part of who they are that I’m glad they can talk freely about it.

  6. I really admire how in their careers they have that balance of not flaunting their religion to everyone knowing that not everyone has the same religious beliefs, but not hiding their religious beliefs either given that the entertainment industry is very anti-religion. I read a recent survey that said that women find a religious man to be more attractive than a non-religious man; yep i totally agree lol. and coming from a religious background myself it is something else I like about them.

I have missed them soooo much, and its great to see kevin again, rocking the hat from the days of ’07 eh?

their take on worship was interesting, how they pour their hearts and souls into their performances on stage. Also nick’s answer to the question of how they handle their beliefs in the public eye was so eloquent, he always answers questions so nicely.

and AisGxx, that man was their church pastor so he knows them very well personally I’d imagine, and that’s why he paid them compliments. I think its a good thing that he doesnt know much about their careers, but knows them well as people and has the same feelings of pride and respect for them as the fans do.

I’m on a jonas high today, i watched jb3d because of the 1 year anniversary lol and it just amazed me all over again how far they’ve come, especially when you watch the bonus feature at the end.

  7. Some on twitter are saying that JB will be at Saddleback Church’s Easter service at Angel Stadium this year. Of course many are having a hard time remembering that if it is true, it is a religiouis service not a concert.

Don’t know if it’s true, but if they are it will be broadcast live online at

  8. Maria-
Oh yeah, haha i was typing as I was listening, didn’t realise he actually knew them til nearer the end!

Kevin, rockin’ the hat! Love it! :) x

  9. I like LOVED this interview. Not that I don’t love every other interview but yeah. It was like really insightful and honest. I like the atmosphere of it, it’s calm, collected, chill, like so peaceful. I hope this all makes sense haha.

I’m not a Christian, but I respect all religions and faiths and beliefs. I believe in one God, and like many other religions, they do too. I like it when people talk about their faith, their beliefs; it gives me more of an insight into them personally, lets me get to know them more, because personally I believe that religion, faith and belief make up a major part of who you are as a person. This might sound totally geeky, but I love talking to people about it, find myself sometimes talking to my friends who have beliefs and it’s really insightful and interesting. Maybe one day I’ll get to talk to these guys and have an awesome conversation.

Going back to Jonas, you can see that faith has played a major part in their lives, they have been given talent, and the fact that their so humble about it, is just so refreshing to see, and I liked the fact they were so open about it you know, they were able to talk about their love for God freely. And I want to also like to thank and congratulate I guess to Mr and Mrs Jonas, for raising these men, and making sure that at the end of the day God is always gonna be there, and make sure they still have that tight knit family that still manages to have that connection with God.

I hope I’m not sounding too like forceful here with anything, just expressing a view :)
Plus on another lighter note I guess, I love the bit where Nick’s like “He’s the best” and that smile he had. I was like yeahhh God’s a gee! haha…yeahh…anyways :|

I hope there are more interviews like these in the future. I enjoyed watching this one. Funny how I find it so easy to write this yet I’m failing with English coursework. Anyways…great job with the interview, I loved it :D

    P.S I like Nick’s haircut

  10. Woahh, that comment ended up long, didn’t realise how much I wrote haha. Sorry :| I kinda like to write/talk.

  11. I missed their ” and I think for us” lol. They love this phrase. And I think it’s the first time they did an interview focused on their religious beliefs so that was nice. Great to see them together again.

  12. bk, i read about that elsewhere and wouldn’t be surprised if it was true. gossipfasho have said that it’s already sold out!

jas i enjoyed reading your comment and agree with you that it’s really interesting to talk about; I have great respect for anyone with a religious belief. I used to love the blog entries christa black would post over the summer and then have the chance to discuss the topics she’d bring up.

not related, but examiner have given kevin some love as a comedic actor, putting him with the likes of alec baldwin, so awesome

  13. WOW! That was amazing. We are fans of three truly great men. They really make me proud to be a fan of them when they do things like this. Everytime I watch the JB 3D movie Up Close & Personal part, I feel very proud. And to know that, even now with all the fame and success, they still value God as the most important thing in their lives. : ) Love the boys.

  14. As their Sister in Christ I was SOOO excited to see this! Man as Nick and Kevin where mentioning Scipture I was totally going to those verses in my head and I was totally smiling the whole time. This is why I love them. They are living a life for God in a secular industry and it is so amazing! I totally want to meet them and talk to them about our common faith.
My only complaint about this interview is I was hoping they would each say when they came to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and not just Kevin saying that they are all very aware of their need of a personal relationship with Jesus.
Over all though I loved this interview so much! Definately my favorite! I am totally showing this to my parents and any other adults that sometimes have trouble believing these awesome young men are believers.

  15. The video isn’t working well on my itouch but I’ll watch it later

  16. LOVE this interview. Best I’ve seen in a while.

  17. Wow, that interview is exactly why I love them so much. They’re perfect. I’m not Christian, but it’s incredible to see how open they are with their religion. I’m just as religous as them, and it’s great to see people this open. I don’t think we’ve ever seen them talk about how much their faith means to them in so much detail. Loved it.

  18. I mean, I don’t know much about religion or whatnot, but I do have to say I feel really good knowing that after everytihng they’ve done and everything they’ve been through, that they are still faithful and have one thiing that they can always come back to. It was pretty amazing to hear what they said.

  19. The thing that’s so great about this interview is that it’s 100% them and what they think. With most interviews, obviously a lot of answers they give are scripted and Disney-approved. But this asked questions about a topic that, despite the fact it’s such a huge part of their lives, rarely comes up in interviews. I feel that it’s difficult to find an interview that actually tells you anything about the brothers but this was fascinating, and I say that as both a fan and a Catholic.

  20. This interview was really great. I was glad to hear this, because it never really gets mention, and being a Christian myself, it felt really good to hear about this, which shows how even more amazing they are.

  21. I really enjoyed this interview. It was nice to see them so open about their faith.

  22. OK SO PERSONALLY THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST INTERVIEWS I HAVE EVER SEEN LIKE SO OPEN AND THE BOYS SEEMED SO RELAXED, I LOVED THE QUESTIONS IT REALLY REMINDS US HOW CLOSE THESE AMAZING GUYS ARE TO CHRIST WHICH IS AWESOME. I DID NOT WANT THE INTERVIEW TO END.

  23. :) they’re amazing, i’m jonas fan, i’m proud :)

  24. The fact that the boys seek to live thier lives to God’s glory in all that they do ( regardless of the “heat”) says a lot about them, their love, and their faith. Many people pretty much just want to do what is right in thier own eyes and maybe in the eyes of other humans. Yet, the Jonas brothers want to do things God’s way and bring glory to him, which is commendable. There was one thing in this interview that concerned me. Judging by their comments, they seem to be under the impression that it doesn’t really matter how a Christian worships God, as long as they have a personal relationship with him and glorify him in their own individual way. While a personal relationship is certainly important, it should be remembered that Christ left a model for each Christian to follow regarding worship. Jesus prayed to God, so we know he had an intimate relationship with him. He lived a godly, principled life, worked secularly, studied the Law and worshipped at the temple. However, a major theme in Jesus’ life was his preaching about the kingdom (Luke 8:1, Luke 4:43). He trained his followers to continue this ministry after him. He even gave his disciples the command to teach and make other disciples of God (Matthew 28:18-20). This preaching is supposed to continue until the end (Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:20). So even though each Christian’s personal circumstances vary, God still expects us to make adjustments in our lives to worship him in the way He sees fit. If we really want to worship His way, but find it difficult, he will help us. All we have to do is ask and have faith (Isaiah 12:2, Mark 11:24, Psalms 5:1,2 ).

  25. LOVE this interview! it’s so nice to hear an interview where the boys are so open about their faith. I’m a Christian too so this interview really meant a lot to me. I’m so proud of them and love them so much! God bless them! :)
