Those sites aren't THAT important ;). To be honest, parents tend to be overly strict on things that don't really make a difference and forget to focus on things that might actually help your child out. Twitter, MySpace, FaceBook aren't dangerous. They can be if the parent has neglected to tell the child what is appropriate/safe to share with the world. No one is going to attack you by tweeting that your brushing your teeth. However, if you give out phone numbers and addresses and make everything you do, available to the general public then sure you could definitely get hurt.
